Crowd-sourcing of questions for the Transition Bath Hustings for the 2015 parliamentary elections

Home News & Events Latest News Crowd-sourcing of questions for the Transition Bath Hustings for the 2015 parliamentary elections

On March 23rd 2015 we will be holding our Parliamentary Hustings for the prospective parliamentary candidates for Bath at BRSLI in Queens Square. In preparation we would like to crowd-source some questions for the event and would like your help?

The aim of the event is to find out where each of the candidates stands on making Bath more sustainable. The format of the event will be as follows:

  1. 2 minute opening statements from each of the candidates on how if they were elected would they help to make Bath and the UK be more sustainable
  2. a quick fire round, where the candidates are given 10 seconds to respond to a short question
  3. pre-selected questions from the audience whose content the candidates will not know in advance – along the lines of BBC’s Question Time

We would like your help in sourcing the questions for 2. and 3. below. For part 3 we have split the form into 5 categories; energy, food, transport, sustainable communities & the economy, and ‘other’, you can provide more than one question per section.

Please enter as many questions as you like (preferably numbered) in each of the sections. If you have a question which doesn’t fit into any of the categories please place it in the other section.

Thank you in advance for your help, and we hope you might be interested in attending? Once we have collated your responses, we will select the best questions for the chairperson to ask the candidates on the day.

The deadline for submitting your questions is Saturday 21st March 2015.
