Transition Bath Food Preservation Workshop

Harvesting your own fruit and vegetables and foraging hedgerow fruits is wonderful during the summer. Would you like to learn how to eat them all year round? We are holding another preservation workshop on Saturday 5th August, from 10am – 2pm, in the Methodist church hall, Bear Flat. The workshop will contain a new element, fermentation, which will be taught by Carol Stone. In previous workshops, we’ve found that participants pick up new ideas from each other, so please bring samples of foods that you’ve preserved for others to taste.
The cost of the workshop will be £15, and will include lunch and some fermentation samples to take away. If you’d like to attend, please email food@transitionbath.org to book your place (numbers limited).
