Wessex Community Energy Network conference

“ Local authority climate emergency action plans and opportunities for community support.

The conference will be hosted by Bath and North East Somerset Council (B&NES) in the Banqueting Room, Guildhall, High St, Bath BA1 5AW

10:00 Welcome- Cllr Sarah Warren, Bath and NE Somerset Council Cabinet Member for Climate Emergency

10:10 Introduction to the conference- Lesley Bennett, Chair, Wessex Community Energy Network

10:20 Presentations from Local Authorities and support organisations on Climate Emergency Action Plans  each 15 minutes + 5 minutes questions

13:45  Eight brief presentations from the community energy sector highlighting current activities and potential new opportunities to help deliver a low carbon future  each 10 minutes with questions in breakout groups at the end of the afternoon.
