You will also hear about Bath’s exciting new initiative\, Bath Landscape City\, and the role this will play in creating a greener\, more biodiverse and sustainable city for the future. \nSpeakers: \nMatt McCabe – Cabinet Member for the Built Environment for BANES\nMatt will provide an overview of the planning policy context which sets the scene for future development; exploring topics covering the Greenbelt\, housing allocations\, the resetting of the Local Plan and the role that proactive public consultation has in shaping future plans for the city. \nPhilip Haile from Transition Bath\nPhilip will offer an analysis of the limitations imposed by ‘Viability’\, and the National Planning Policy Framework in developing the Local Plan.
