DESCRIPTION:Join Share and Repair to learn how climate change works and how you can take effective action in your community.\n\n\n\nThe Climate Fresk Workshop is a proven\, very successful educational tool\, based on the scientific reports of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). The workshop uses a discovery/game approach whereby participants link cards in order of the causes and consequences of climate change. The resulting collage rolls-out on its own without preaching and complicated explanations enabling participants to easily understand how planetary life will be impacted. Learn how to feel empowered to take action and to spread the word. Meet others in your community who share your concerns and discuss the positive action you can take. \nJoin Share and Repair on the Lower Bristol Road in Bath. Share and Repair is a local environmental charity supporting borrowing over buying new and repairing over replacing items. Melusine Pigeon\, a volunteer repairer and also a lecturer in sustainability at the University of Bath\, will be facilitating this session. Get your climate change questions answered and leave with ideas on how you can make a difference.

DESCRIPTION:Want to get more plant-based foods into your everyday cooking? Join Transition Bath and Bath Community Kitchen for an inspiring vegan cooking demonstration to celebrate the end of Veganuary and help you keep “eating the rainbow” long after January is over. \nDuring this relaxed and interactive session\, you’ll watch experienced cooks prepare a range of colourful\, nutritious vegan dishes\, packed with flavour and simple techniques you can recreate at home. There will be plenty of tips\, ideas and inspiration for incorporating more plant-based meals into your routine – whether you’re fully vegan\, curious or just looking to diversify your diet. \nYou’ll also get the chance to sample the dishes made during the demonstration (please note this will be tasting portions rather than a full meal) and resources will be provided to inspire your plant-based cooking journey. \nPay What You Can \nSuggested donations: \n\n£20 – standard rate\n£10 – concessions\n\nWe want this event to be accessible to everyone. Please contribute what you’re able.
