Low Carbon Heating

Home Projects Low Carbon Heating

Buildings account for 25% of the UK’s carbon emissions. Swapping a gas boiler for a heat pump for most homes is straightforward and reduces heating and hot water carbon emissions by 85%, yet take up of heat pumps is very low in Bath and there are currently no qualified installers.

This project aims to build community support for the installation of heat pumps and other low carbon heating, reducing barriers, improving supply chains and accelerating their installation.
