Training

Transition Bath’s Testo 875 professional thermal imaging camera is available to borrow for free once you have completed one of our free training course which we announce each winter via our newsletter.

We require you to take part in the training course because we believe it’s important that you understand how to use the camera to make best use of it when you borrow it, to correctly interpret what you are seeing and not misinterpret the images.

Borrowing the camera

The camera is available to borrow from Bath Share & Repair on George Street. You will only be able to borrow the camera if you have completed the course and are on the registered list of users. Try to borrow the camera for as few days as possible to allow others to use the camera as well.

As you will find out in the training course the camera works best in cold weather, and so it is best used between late November and early April when it is cold enough, < 10C outside for the camera to produce good results. If you book the camera and it turns out to be too warm outside, please rebook for another day.
