Join us for an interactive foraging foray where you’ll learn the art of safely identifying and preparing wild foods in the lush surroundings of Smallcombe Community Nuttery and the Bath Skyline Walk.
Event Highlights
- Guided Foraging: Under the guidance of wild foods educator Ella Milburn, you’ll tap into the abundant world of wild foods and learn to identify, harvest, and prepare a range of edible plants, nuts, berries and hopefully mushrooms! Our expert instructor will provide you with insights into the nutritional value, cultural significance, and culinary uses of the wild plants you discover.
- Idyllic Setting: Smallcombe Community Nuttery and the Bath Skyline Walk offer a tranquil backdrop of natural beauty.
- Small Group Experience: As this event is limited to just 12 participants, you’ll have ample opportunities to ask questions and learn at your own pace.
- Safety and Sustainability First: You’ll be taught how to distinguish between edible and inedible plants, as well as how to sustainably harvest wild foods without harming the environment.
- Tickets: Limited spaces are available, so be sure to reserve your spot early.
What to Bring
- Comfortable clothing and sturdy walking shoes – we recommend wearing long socks and trousers to offer protection against possible ticks in the long grass
