From wild mustards to three-cornered leek, to gingery magnolia flowers and cucumbery cleavers, salad ingredients are growing wild all around us if you know where to look.
In this session with local forager Ella Milburn (@everydayforaging), you’ll learn what’s safe to munch on and what’s not in Spring, and learn about how to harvest wild foods sustainably. After the foray, we’ll whip up a mixed salad with all our findings, toss it with a tasty dressing and enjoy with a hunk of sourdough bread. It’s a chance to play with flavours, textures, and get creative with nature’s pantry.
