March 29 @ 10:00 - 11:30

The first stage of the walk covers a short distance to look at the heronry in the trees above the Honda dealership at the bottom of Ralph Allen Drive. Last year there were 10 active nests. By early March, the Grey Herons should be rebuilding their nests and displaying. Visibility should be good as there won’t be leaves on the trees. After looking at the herons, the walk continues towards the city to see if the Peregrines on the Catholic church are at the nest. They might be displaying at this time of year, prior to breeding.
The walk will be around 1 mile in total, including crossing some roads.
If the event of bad weather, the walk will need to be cancelled or postponed.
