Should the government use strict environmental regulation to control global warming? Constituency survey.

Home News & Events Latest News Should the government use strict environmental regulation to control global warming? Constituency survey.

An interesting online survey, if it is to be believed, suggests that the residents of Bath’s Parliamentary Constituency have a much stronger belief government should employ strict environmental controls to control global warming than the residents of the surrounding North West Somerset Constituency. Given there is only a single question, whose wording includes the word ‘strict’ it is difficult to interpret too much from the survey but it is interesting to contrast the difference in opinions, this might be reflected in voting habits in that the former is currently held by the Liberal Demoncrats and the latter Conservative?

It would perhaps be more interesting perhaps to ask more detailed subtle questions about the nature of individual aspects of government regulation relating to climate change in the same way we asked with our housing survey in 2014.
