Do you want to work towards a cleaner and greener community? We are looking for volunteers to join our new Bath Wombles project and take part in organised litter-picking activities.
Litter picking is a great opportunity for communities to come together – being outdoors is great for our mental health, removing rubbish is great for wildlife and reducing plastic pollution is great for the environment.
Bath Wombles is also part of the #NoPlaceForLitter Education Project, founded by Transition Keynsham. The aim of this project is that every school student in B&NES takes part in a litter pick every year throughout their school career. The belief is that once a child is used to litter picking they will be much less likely to drop litter as they grow older and that this will contribute towards a culture in which litter becomes less acceptable across our whole community.
So if you want to be part of a team, help clean up local public spaces and encourage others to do the same, use the form below to get in touch with us.
