This project looks to tackle the issue of food waste in the city by providing a space within the centre to house a fridge and freezer where fresh or prepared food items can be stored and freely distributed to anyone who would like them. This project will rely on developing relationships with the council, local food retailers and restaurants as well as eventually staffing the fridge itself, helping to hand out the food and control wastage.
