One of the objectives of Transition Bath is to engage the wider public with what the Climate Emergency means for the city. We feel that there is a need for events, talks, discussions and celebrations that focus on the local area. We need someone to join the team who is prepared to help organise these events.
We hold regular events, such as our monthly All Transition meeting, our food workshops and quarterly Sustainability Shorts evenings, as well as less frequent events such as the Bath Green Open Homes weekend, community days and other community events and collaborations. This work involves planning, marketing, ticketing and often running the events.
The post holder would also be encouraged to create new opportunities to reach out to the community and promote the work that Transition Bath undertakes.
