Lyn is a keen advocate for local food. She grows it, and she leads Transition Bath’s approaches to building food resilience for a more sustainable future. Integral to this is celebrating the ‘local’, because ‘plot to plate’ means food is fresher, transport distances are reduced and refrigeration minimised. Lyn is particularly keen to promote projects that get fresh and affordable local crops to those whose circumstances limit their choices.
