Mark became a trustee of Transition Bath in November 2024, taking on key roles in digital infrastructure, governance, communications and events. His work strengthens the organisation’s presence, outreach and operational effectiveness.
With a background in science, mathematics and software engineering, Mark has spent his career taking a human-centred approach to systems, ensuring they serve people and drive meaningful impact across many industries from radars to ready meals. As a former director of Bath: Hacked, he has seen first-hand how shared knowledge and collaboration empower communities to tackle complex problems.
Mark’s awareness of climate change began at an early age, evolving into a deep commitment to sustainable solutions. He believes that, with thoughtful collaboration and audacious thinking, we can create a future that balances human needs with the health of the planet.
