While England’s Women were battling it out in the World Cup Final against Spain down under, we were setting up the cake stand for the picnic at the Smallcombe Community Nuttery.
This was an opportunity for people to come together and enjoy spending time with family and friends in this wonderful community space, surrounded by beautiful countryside.
Although many of the cobnuts and walnuts had already been harvested by whom or what remains a mystery, the mulberries were ripe and ready for picking. Some visitors may have possibly over-mulberried!
Due to the clash with the football, we extended the picnic so people could join us afterwards and, as it turns out, commiserate with cake and company.
