A chalkboard reading "Zero Waste" surrounded by fresh food

This workshop is an opportunity to get together with others interested in reducing waste in their home to share ideas and experience. It will be led by Deborah Steele, who has been developing her knowledge and experience in her own home.

Learn how you can avoid wasting food (use it all up! Buy less), reduce the amount of packaging that comes into and leaves your home, and reduce fuel and water use.

It will start with a brief explanation of why avoiding waste matters (especially in the context of financial crisis and climate emergency), and a description of how I got started and where I’m at now. Participants are encouraged to share their own experiences – triumphs and failures!

Participants will leave feeling confident about making some simple changes at home to start or move further along their journey towards zero waste living.

What to bring:
Drinking glasses/mugs, teaspoons, saucers (1 each – for tasters)

Please let us know if you have any allergies – tasters include dairy and gluten.

We are asking for a donation of £15 to attend this 2-hour workshop. We do not want to exclude anyone from attending based on cost, so please change the donation amount if you are unable to pay the full price.
