Our Try-Before-You-Buy LED down-lighter kit is now available to borrow from the library – further instructions how to borrow the kit are provided here: www.transitionbath.org/ledkit . The kit consists of 40 different LED GU10 and MR16 LED lights which can try, to decide which you prefer before buying.
We would encourage anyone connected with Transition Bath to replace their halogens with LEDs and we are using this kit to try to encourage you to do so. It is about the simplest, most cost effective way of reducing your carbon footprint – and it will save you lots of money as well! For each halogen you replace you will save about £5 per year. If you have 15 downlighters at home, replacing them might save £75 per year in electricity and reduce your electricity consumption by 15%.
