We are hosting a day of celebrations at the Smallcombe Nuttery on the 16th June 2024 with a host of activities and events throughout the day! Smallcombe Nuttery is now a well developed and productive community orchard and is a wonderful, calm space in nature a mere stone’s throw from the city.

We have a range of exciting events lined up through the day, including; scything lessons, yoga sessions, nature-based art for both adults and children, nature walks and food provided by the Bath Community Kitchen. There will also be a bake sale to raise money for Transition Bath, so arrive hungry.

We will be on site all day (whatever the weather) for a cuppa and a chat alongside our arranged events, which will be listed separately on the website. There’s no need to book a ticket to come along to the day itself, but if you’d like to attend a specific event then please do, it will help us to arrange the day.

Access to the Nuttery is best on foot and is about a 20 minute walk from the centre of town. If you have to drive, please do not park on Horseshoe Walk itself as it is a private road. The Nuttery is on quite a steep slope, so please be careful and ask for help if you have mobility issues, we will be available to give you a hand. There are no toilet facilities at the Nuttery, but there are facilities available a short walk away in the shops at Widcombe.
